The Cosmic SL 45 Disc is a versatile carbon road wheel, perfect for cyclists seeking the ideal balance of weight, aerodynamics, and efficiency. Enhanced with new spokes and hubs, the Cosmic SL 45 wheelset offers a light and lively feel, making climbs and accelerations effortless.
Engineered with a NACA rim profile, the rim is 45mm deep and 28mm wide, providing exceptional performance on both flat and hilly terrains. The innovative rim bed shape simplifies the fitting of tubeless and tube-type tyres. UST Tubeless technology eliminates the need for tubes, reducing friction and increasing air volume, resulting in a smoother, faster ride with incredibly low rolling resistance.
Refined spokes make this wheelset 80g lighter than its predecessor, the Cosmic Pro Carbon UST Disc. Combined with the all-new Infinity hub platform, the wheels are stiffer and more efficient, delivering quick and responsive handling out of every corner.
Specifically engineered for disc brakes, the Cosmic SL 45 Disc features an optimized spoke count and lacing pattern. Available only in Center Lock, these wheels are compatible with 12mm thru-axles and can be converted to quick release with the included adapters. They are compatible with Shimano cassettes and can be converted to SRAM XD-R or Campagnolo with an optional driver body.
Designed, engineered, and patented by Mavic in Annecy, France, the Cosmic SL 45 Disc wheels are 100% handmade in Mavic's European carbon factory, ensuring top-notch quality and performance.
